On Thursday morning we woke up early and had breakfast buffet at the hotel. The restaurant was a really cool room with murals on every wall, and it seemed to go on and on.
After breakfast we walked down Vazi to one of the bigger markets in Budapest, the
Central Market. The market was full of fresh produce, Paprika as souvenirs, spices, fresh meat, pastries, as well as little trinkets, purses, and scarves. We walked around for awhile, all three of us taking pictures of the brightly colored vegetables and fruit. I love markets.

From the market we continued walking and heading toward the
Ludwig Museum of Contemporary Art. They had a Keith Haring show, which I was very excited to see. It was a good show, mostly pieces I've never seen before, and some of his more well known images. I adore him. This bus was parked outside of the museum.

That night we took the subway to another part of town and had dinner at a restaurant recommended to me by my friend Katie. It's called
Bagolyvar, which means the Owl, in Hungarian. It is staffed completely by women. The food was excellent, my mother wanted to eat there again but we never made it back.
It was located near the
Heroes' Square - which is one of the prettiest squares I saw. It was too dark for me to get any good photos, but my dad probably did. We never made it back there, so I never got another chance.
