presents for Anne

This year my holiday presents to a few of my friends and family members were these adorable lunch bags from Linen, Wool, Cotton, filled with soft little trees. The little tree pattern I found through flickr, by Stephanie Congdon Barnes. I adore her and everything she creates, and these little trees were so satisfying to sew, and even more satisfying to look at all together. I made so many of them, and find myself wanting to make more. The pattern is available here.

For Anne, I selected dark yellow, charcoal, lighter grey, and muslin fabrics. These are the colors of her new home, and colors that in general remind me of her.

I'll have you know that even though my Christmas tree and decorations are no longer up, my little trees still are. They're so perfect in my home.

I'm so glad they're still up! I have mine up as well, and I need to make myself a cohesive set, like yours.
