Cross Stitching

Recently I've spent a good deal of my free time cross stitching. I was sick for a good long spell, and this was about all I had the energy to do.

These are my recent finished projects hanging in my office - more photos to come. All of the patterns are from the Danish cross stitch designer, Gerda Bengtsson. I am totally obsessed with her, all her designs make me swoon. She designed until she was well in to her 90s, and made over 1,000 patterns. Amazing. It drives me crazy that I don't have access to many of them! Maybe some day ...

i swear one of these days I will fall to the cross stitching trap. You guys make the best stuff, but I need to learn how to finish a hat that I promised a certain someone about 4 months ago... keep posting!!

Jenna, you should do it!! It's the most tote-able project, you can take it anywhere with you and it's easy to work on during small amounts of time!

and thanks Megan! It's SO easy, I am sure you could pick it up in a matter of minutes and make some really cool triangle pillow cases :)
