Sunday, November 2nd, Prague

Sunday morning we woke up and walked back to Josefov, where we saw the Maisel Synagogue, the Pinkas Synagogue, the Spanish Synagogue again, the Jewish Ceremonial Hall, and the Old Jewish Cemetery. They were all pretty intense and emotional to walk around, and I didn't take too many photos in them.

These were taken on the way to Josefov.

This is the Maisel Synagogue, the front of which was under construction. It was built in the 1590s, and significantly destroyed by fire in 1689. Now it is used as a museum.

After walking around Josefov for most of the day we walked over to the Alphonse Mucha museum, which was really inspiring. His work is all so beautiful, especially with the silkscreening and printing that I've done. The museum has a span of artwork throughout his life, and the progression of him as an artist.

That night we went to the Municipal House for a classical concert - The Four Seasons by Vivaldi and others. The concert was incredible, very talented musicians. The building is so beautiful, I didn't take any photos inside or out, but it is certainly one of the most beautiful I've been in. There are murals inside by Mucha as well, and I wish I could have gotten some photos.
