I hope all your first two days of the new year are going well.Anne came and spent last night, as well as Em and Taylor, and it was really good to see them all. Celebrated my friend Ashlee's birthday, drank tea, and watched Shane and Elias bowl. Had a nice breakfast this morning, spent some time shopping with Anne, and then went with Shane and Elias to the campus art museum, Jordan Schnizter Museum of Art, to see an exhibit called "Faster than a Speeding Bullet: The Art of the Superhero." The collection was pretty amazing - made me really inspired to get out my india inks and do some drawing. For me the highlights of the show included some of the first comics published in the United States, as well as a few original panels of Watchmen!
Anne did some baking last night, and we watched Nalah while Em and Taylor were are the movies. She's a really sweet dog and only scared my cats a few times ...

Sounds like an awesome exhibit. I love comic book exhibits. THey are totally inspiring!! There was a really great on that came thru the Norman Rockwell Museum last year.
