Our next door neighbor cleared out 7 or 8 giant cedars last summer, which has given us an amazing amount of light, and much less debris on the ground!

before & after
Our plants lined up and ready to be planted. Five tomato plants, two types of peas, arugula, salad greens, spinach, and cucumbers.
These are watermelons Shane started from seed. We also bought a honeydew - I am excited for summer melons! Hope they work.

And, since I am so behind on blogging, these are a month old. These were taken before the squirrel decided to use our pea trellis for it's nest! I will get some updated pictures up this weekend.
